Lot #8. Brane-Cantenac 2001

Description: Consists of 3 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94 JMQ.
"Dark red. An especially superb aromatic nose - fine and complex - which evokes a great vineyard. Very intense upon swirling, this wine feels really very, very good and remains difficult to define. Dense, tight in its core, silky and elegant; as I have always said, this wine does not expand on the sides. It proceeds directly with nobility and a beautiful aroma that allows it to end very long. The tannins are present but without rigidity . . . . The framing is here mineral. It's very good and racy." Jean-Marc Quarin, Quarin.com, Jun 2003
Provenance: The Piquant Cellar
Notes: Very lightly scuffed capsules, 1 very lightly scuffed label.
