92 JG. "The 2015 Clos des Ambres, coming in at an even thirteen percent, is quite far removed from my pre-tasting expectations of the style of the vintage’s white Burgundies, as it offers up really impressive cut and grip on its long and very precise finish. The bouquet is lovely, wafting from the glass in a complex blend of apple, pear, orange zest, hazelnut, classy minerality and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very elegant, with fine complexity, impressive mid-palate depth, with a bit more snap and grip than in the Meursault villages bottling, as well as more of sense of reserve, which is a very good sign in the 2015 vintage!"
