Lot #40. Arnaud Ente Bourgogne Blanc 2015

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 90 JG.
"Arnaud Ente’s 2015 Bourgogne Blanc is also very stylish, with an overtly Puligny-like personality this year (two-thirds of these grapes hail from Bourgogne-ranked parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, the other third from parcels in near the Clos des Ormes vineyard in Meursault), offering up a lovely bouquet of apple, white peach, chalky soil tones, white flowers and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nicely round on the attack, with vibrant acids, lovely focus and grip, a good core and a long, suave finish. This is wide open in personality right out of the blocks, but has fine supporting acidity and will not need to be consumed in the flash of an eye." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2016, Issue #66
Provenance: The Bijou Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $300
