"The most backward offering is the 2006 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard. Blueberry, raspberry, forest floor, and violet notes make an appearance in this medium dark ruby-colored Pinot. There is sweet fruit on the attack, but the acidity and tannin quickly kick in. This is a purely made wine that captures the elusive nature of this varietal." Wine Advocate #174, Dec 2007 |
