88-91 AM. "From vines on the slope rather than the plain, which generally give substantially better fruit. This is surprisingly elegant in the context of what is typical with its perfumed dark currant, spice and soft earth nuances. There is more volume and a bit more richness as well to the velvety but detailed medium-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the lingering finish that displays only a trace of rusticity. This is quite good and worth a look." Burghound.com, Jan 15, 2016 |
