"At age eleven, this 1998 Shiraz still reveals some of its youthful fruit bomb characteristics. An inky/blue/purple color is followed by an explosive nose of black fruits, blueberries, acacia flowers, pepper, and incense. A layered, in-your-face, exuberant (but not over the top), rich, concentrated, pure, hedonistic example of Shiraz, it reveals no signs of falling apart, drying out, or losing its exuberance. . ."
