95+ JG. "The 2013 Latricières-Chambertin from Jean-Marie Fourrier is a brilliant example of this great terroir. The pure and classic bouquet delivers scents of dark berries, black cherries, raw cocoa, grilled meats, espresso, black soil tones, vanillin oak and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and shows off outstanding mid-palate depth, with great soil signature, exemplary focus and grip, ripe tannins and a very, very long, soil-driven and complex finish. A great bottle of Latricières." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2014, Issue #54 |
