91-94 AM. "From a 0.44 ha parcel with vines that were originally planted in 1904 though there has been a significant amount of replanting since. An ultra-spicy and markedly floral nose combines notes of red cherry, wild currant and earth with those of soft game and underbrush nuances. The polished, sophisticated and intense middle weight plus flavors display a lovely sense of verve that can also be found on the mineral-driven and well-balanced finale. Like the Bonnes Mares this isn't an especially big example of the appellation but it's harmonious and should drink well young if that's your preference." Burghound.com, Jan 15, 2018 |
