Lot #40. Grand Puy-Lacoste 1966

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 18 JR.
"Wonderful deep ruby – looks very healthy. Beautifully sweet with a certain delicacy now, though surely one of the more vigorous 1966s at more than 40 years old. Sweet and complete with a very slighlty dry finish but still marching on. Long and rewarding – not frail at all. No awkwardness or austerity. A great 1966." Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, May 2009
Provenance: The Companion Cellar
Notes: 2 Top shoulder, 3 upper mid shoulder, 1 mid shoulder, lightly scuffed, 1 wine stained capsules, lightly faded, 2 wine stained, lightly scuffed, lightly bin soiled labels.
