Lot #123. Certan de May 1999

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Region: France, Bordeaux, Pomerol.
Score: 91 JMQ.
"Dark red. Medium intensity. Clean. Discreet. Ripe fruit. Notes of plum, blackberry and dried fruits (grape). A soft entry on the palate, demonstrating a tender frame which seduces by the softness of its proportions, with a slightly fluid character due to the vintage. However, after the mid-palate, the wine takes on a very good fruity taste and ends with a refined structure in the grain of the tannin, which is the style of the vintage. Quite delicious." Jean-Marc Quarin, Quarin.com, May 2001
Provenance: The Maquereau Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $100
