Lot #2. Beychevelle 1975

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 92+ JG.
". . .this is really a superb bottle in the making, as it offers up a classy and pure nose of cassis, sweet cranberries, cigar smoke, a great base of soil, nutskins, just a hint of fresh herbs and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, medium-full and still fairly structured, with a sweet core of fruit, beautiful focus and balance, moderate tannins and great length and grip on the dancing finish. This is a very elegant and pure example of the vintage that is starting to drink very well, but may still improve a bit more with further bottle age." View From the Cellar, May/Jun 2011, Issue #33
Provenance: The Matador Cellar
Notes: Very top shoulder, damp stained, mold stained, lightly scuffed label.
