Lot #7. Talbot 1982

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 95 RP.
"Along with the 1986, the 1982 is one of the greatest Talbots ever made. Far more evolved than its stablemate, Gruaud Larose, it exhibits a dense garnet color to the rim along with a huge, sweet, exotic nose of charcoal, beef blood, licorice, herbs, and black fruits. A hint of figs suggests borderline overripeness, but the wine remains fleshy and full-bodied with sweet tannin and an expansive, heady mouthfeel. While fully mature, it should hold" Wine Advocate # 183, Jun 2009
Provenance: The Matador Cellar
Notes: Very lightly scuffed, very lightly corroded capsule, lightly scuffed, lightly damp stained, lightly mold stained, lightly bin soiled label.
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $225
