Lot #118. Guffens-Heynen Mâcon-Pierreclos Le Chavigne Tri des 25 Ans 2005

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 91 ST.
(13.8% alcohol) Superripe aromas of stone fruits, apple and crushed rocks, complicated by flowers and minerals. Fat, rich and dry, with the inner-mouth aromatic quality and flavor depth missing in the examples from the Cote de Beaune. But then there was no hydric stress here, Guffens emphasizes. Rather powerful flavors of nectarine and minerals are framed by excellent acidity. Finishes very rich and long. Vinious.com, Sep 2007
Provenance: The Mission Cellar
Notes: Very lightly scuffed, 1 very lightly wine stained label.
