Lot #201. Etienne Sauzet Montrachet 1993

"A fully mature and utterly beguiling nose of smoke and aged fruit that leads to big, muscular, rich, gorgeously nuanced and palate staining flavors that offer huge length and real power. While I have experienced a fair amount of bottle variation with this wine, when it's "on", it is undoubtedly one of the top two or three whites of the vintage. . .In sum, this is a classic Montrachet and a profound wine in every respect." Allen Meadows, Aug 18, 2012
