Lot #143. Pierre Matrot Puligny Montrachet Les Combettes 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 92 AM.
"From yields of only 20 hl/ha. This is also reserved but it's easy to discern a higher level of ripeness on the floral and elegant white fruit aromas that also characterize the rich, full and generous flavors that have that beautiful sense of underlying tension and the mineral-infused finish is much tighter than the mid-palate impression would suggest. I like the cuts-like-a-knife delineation of the backend and this will age well over the medium term. In a word, beautiful." Burghound.com, Jul 01, 2007
Provenance: The Bayerisch Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $50
