"The 2011 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre from Domaine Patrick Piuze is a classic rendition of this magical premier cru, soaring from the glass in a superb mélange of apple, pear, complex, chalky minerality, paraffin, spring flowers and lemon oil. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and utterly complete and seamless, with superb mid-palate depth, stunning transparency, bright, snappy acids and outstanding length and grip on the laser-like and beautiful finish.
