19 JR. "Exceptionally deep blackish crimson. Mulberry flavours that were very enticing. Fresh, very lively yet with real concentration. So good I thought, blind, it was a 1961. Rich and velvety. A really lovely wine, and yet it is only half the price of the 2005 L'Évangile (around £1,250 a case initially). This still has a lot of pleasure left to give. Great value . . ."
