95+ JG. "The 2013 Chambertin from the Rossignol brothers is another absolutely stellar young grand cru in the making, offering up a pure and youthful aromatic constellation of cassis, dark berries, grilled meat, cocoa, a superbly complex base of soil tones, woodsmoke and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very, very pure, with a rock solid core of fruit, great soil inflection, ripe tannins and great focus and grip on the very long, tangy and very youthful finish. All this brilliant wine needs is time." John Gilman, View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2014, Issue #54 |
