Lot #78. Georges Noëllat Grands Echézeaux 1962

Description: Consists of 9 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 92 AM.
"Only mild bricking. A reasonably fresh nose given the age of the wine with plenty of sous-bois yet there is also enough residual fruit, spice and earth nuances present that the overall aromatic impression is relatively youthful, which of course suggests that the storage has been impeccable. There is equally good vibrancy to the detailed, rich and very round medium-bodied flavors that possess good mid-palate body and fine length on the balanced finish. This is a lovely wine . . . . Tasted thrice recently with similar results." Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Apr 2016
Provenance: The Imperial Cellar
Notes: Late bottling.
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $6,000
