"An historic year and an historic Monfortino. The color is still the classic ‘Barolo’ clear red with coquettish orange nuances that remain lively, transparent and strong. The aromas are more varietal than ever with wild berry jam and, above all, a lot of spice, those spices used for roasts like juniper and cloves, accompanied by the ever-present sweet licorice.
