Lot #281. Latour 1952

Description: Consists of 3 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 92 JL.
"Filled with truffles, spicy black fruit and cassis, leather, smoke and soy scents in the perfume. Offering a big mouth feel in an old school austere style, this wine served up a healthy dose of cassis in the long syrupy textured finish that's only found in old, mature wines. The wine kept improving in the glass." Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider, Jun 25, 2009
Provenance: The Tower Cellar
Notes: 2 high shoulder, 1 upper mid shoulder, corroded and 2 lightly torn capsules partially exposing top of corks, Château- and vintage-branded short capsules reveal Château- and vintage-branded corks, bin soiled, lightly scuffed, and very lightly torn labels, 1 sign of past seepage.
