"This is a stunning Clos de Beze. It has an otherworldly bouquet of red-berried fruits, wild strawberry, oyster shell and just a hint of fresh fig. You could sit and nose this all day. Wonderful definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a wonderful sense of natural balance. Just effortless. Sensuous, silky tannins that belies the concentration and power under the bonnet. Wild strawberry, raspberry, a touch of cranberry and pomegranate. This is an approachable Clos de-Beze but if you can resist the waiter’s friend then I would wait . . ."
