Lot #1280. Moët & Chandon Dom Pérignon Brut 1995

Description: Consists of 11 Bottles, 0.75L
Region: France, Champagne.
Score: 95 ST.
"Wonderfully subtle, complex aromas of white flowers, acacia honey, minerals, nuts and mushroom, with musky and leesy nuances. Oily, rich and smoky but with terrific verve and lift. Quite substantial and chewy for a young D.P. but not at all heavy. Yellow plum and strong soil tones in the middle and on the palate-staining finish. Offers a rare combination of richness and finesse." Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Nov/Dec '02
Provenance: The Tower Cellar
Notes: 5 lightly torn capsules, 3 nicked and 6 very lightly scuffed labels, 2 different importers.
