Lot #1394. Jacques Prieur Montrachet 1997

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 91 AM.
Big, rich, slightly oaky, intensely mouth coating and ever so slightly honeyed with a trace of finishing sweetness. This is quite juicy, almost friendly in style with rounded, thick, dense, concentrated flavors and a lovely fruit/acid balance that beautifully buffers the moderate fat and extract. Pretty rather than profound yet it retains a clear sense of refinement and breed. Allen Meadows, April 01, 2003
Provenance: The Tower Cellar
Notes: 2cm, handwritten notation on capsule, lightly torn and scuffed label.
