Lot #1420. Camus-Bruchon Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Narbantons 2012

Description: Consists of 6 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 93-94 JG.
"Like Pimentiers, Narbantons is another terroir than can be a bit “nobly rustic” out of the blocks and take time to show its inherent elegance, but the 2012 vintage has taken care of this characteristic and this is a supremely refined young vintage of this fine wine. The deep and very classy nose offers up scents of cherries, red plums, pomegranate, a lovely and quite complex base of minerality, gentle spice tones, woodsmoke and cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very transparent, with a lovely core, fine-grained tannins, tangy acids and excellent, nascent complexity on the long, suave and very promising finish. What a troika of superb Savigny premier crus chez Camus this year!" View From the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2013, Issue #48
