"The la Monsard bottling from Bussière has also turned out beautifully in 2012, as the wine offers up a deep and bright bouquet of peach, apples, a potpourri of spring flowers, a fine base of chalky soil tones and a nice topnote of nuttiness. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and beautifully transparent on the attack, with an excellent core, fine framing acids and impressive length and grip on the complex and classy finish.
