Lot #245. Robert Chevillon Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Bousselots 2005

Description: Consists of 1 Bottle, 0.75L
Score: 89-92 AM.
Surprisingly, given the vineyards blended into the respective cuvées, this is actually more elegant than the Bourgogne with a floral and wonderfully spicy aromatic profile and delicious, sweet, textured and intense medium full flavors that are powerful, muscular and powerful, all wrapped in a strikingly long finish. This is a 'wow' wine. Here there is another slight rise in phenolic ripeness with a mix of red and blue berry fruits, earth and a very subtle touch of wood spice that complements the rich, full and sappy medium full flavors that are textured, complex and attractive, all wrapped in moderately structured finish that delivers impressive length. I like the subtle minerality and this is harmonious, transparent and beautifully well balanced. Allen Meadows, Jan 01, 2007
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $20
