Lot #42. Comte Georges de Vogüé Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 2013

Description: Consists of 12 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 93 AM.
"From younger vines in Musigny of less than 25 years of age. Here the highly restrained nose is a bit more deeply pitched with perfumed and spiced aromas of pomegranate, lilac, plum and exotic tea scents. There is a suave yet delineated mouth feel to the much bigger, richer and more obviously mineral-driven middle weight plus flavors that possess a highly sophisticated texture, all wrapped in a naturally sweet and balanced finish that delivers outstanding depth and length. Lovely quality and a good way to buy Musigny more reasonably." Burghound.com, Jan 15, 2016
Provenance: The Mesa Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $2,500
