"Fortunately, there are 1000 cases of this impressively-endowed Zinfandel made from old vines. It is a big, beefy wine that has been aged in small oak casks, of which 20% were French. The wine exhibits an excellent dense ruby/purple color, a sweet, ripe, peppery, black-cherry, loamy-scented nose, bold, forceful, full-bodied, well-balanced flavors with outstanding extract, excellent purity, and a spicy, closed, structured finish.
