"The 2006 Pur Sang bottling from Didier Dageneau is (not surprisingly) absolutely stellar, and still very much a young wine. The pure and complex bouquet offers up a superb mélange of grapefruit, lime, green apple, flinty soil tones, cut grass and plenty of petrol. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, crisp and nascently complex, with a stunning core of fruit, bracing acids, great focus and cut, and a very, very long, laser-like finish. . .A terrific bottle in the making."
