"Good deep ruby-red. Aromas of cassis, violet and tobacco. Dense and rich but dry, with highly concentrated, complex flavors of plum, chocolate, tobacco and woodsmoke. Not at all a sweet style of Napa cabernet, but has power and impact and finishes with lovely ripeness. A rare collectible cabernet with alcohol under 14% (actually 13.9%)." Vinous, May 2004 |
