"Not much to say about this wine - simply another brilliant bottle of TBA from Helmut Dönnhoff. The bouquet on the 2005 Brücke TBA Goldkap is deep and celestial, as it offers up a brilliant mélange of pear, apple, honeycomb, Brücke spice tones, a veritable bath of slate, exotic notes of mango and a pungent topnote of apple blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, pure and loaded with botrytis, with laser-like focus, perfect balance, brilliant purity, and stunning delicacy and cut for such a rich, botrytized wine. This is a magical bottle of wine, and one of the most ethereal TBAs that I have ever had the pleasure to taste. How could dessert wine get any better than this timeless gem?"
