95 RP. "One of the more underrated Cabernet Sauvignons in Napa (and it’s not surprising that I feel the same way about their nearby neighbor, Seavey) is Anderson’s Estate Cabernet Sauvignon from no other place than ... the Conn Valley. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a beautiful deep ruby/purple color and a sweet nose of licorice, roasted meats, new saddle leather, plums, figs, blackberries, and currants. The wine spends 22-26 months in oak and every year is virtually 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is opulent, fleshy, and very sexy, but in spite of its accessibility, it should age brilliantly . . ." Wine Advocate #174, Dec 2007 |
