"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Trailer Vineyard exudes serious richness and intensity. Unctuous dark fruit, mocha, blueberry, spice and cloves build as this voluptuous, huge wine shows off its personality. The Trailier is an unusually racy wine by Dunn standards. Mike Dunn picked this fruit a little bit riper than is common for the other wines and did not remove alcohol. The result is a flamboyant, opulent wine endowed with dazzling textural richness. Trailier is Dunn's original Howell Mountain vineyard. This parcel was replanted after the 2013 harvest." Vinous, Dec 2016 |
