Lot #102. Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos de la Maréchale Blanc 2014

Description: Consists of 2 Bottles, 0.75L
Score: 94 ST.
"Brilliant pale yellow. Knockout delicate perfume of citrus peel, wild herbs and acacia flower. Dense but weightless in the mouth, with its superb sweetness of fruit perfectly countered by penetrating minerality. This wonderfully sappy white wine delivers outstanding energy and life in the mouth. Its dusty, sappy, extremely long finish saturates the palate without flagging. This wine was an attention-grabber from barrel in late 2015 and it's every bit as good in its finished form. While it's built to age, it would be great with oysters right now." Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com, Mar 2017
Provenance: The E Street Cellar
Lot Location: Orange County
Estimate: $150
