Lot #389. Thierry Allemand Cornas Chaillot 2014

Description: Consists of 1 Magnum, 1.5L
Region: France, Rhône, Cornas.
Score: 97 JS.
"Allemand's younger vine bottling, a wine with amazing depth and fragrant complexity. There are peppery and very sweetly fragrant raspberries and red plums, and a spicy lift, too. The palate has essence-like red plum fruit flavor, wet stones, cherries, chocolate and plums. Tannins are finely detailed and elegantly stated. The finish is powerfully succulent." James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, Jan 2018
Provenance: The Bijou Cellar
Notes: Torn vintage neck tag, very lightly scuffed label.
