"This wine displays a murky plum/purple color. The nose offers a smorgasbord of aromas, including cherry, blackberry, and strawberry liqueur intermingled with smoky, toasty oak, roasted Provençal herbs, Asian spice, and chocolatey, meaty overtones. Exceptionally full-bodied, with gobs of glycerin, remarkable purity, and profound balance for such a large Zinfandel, this is a true work of art . . . .
