93 RP. "The late-released 2004 Pinot Noir Three Sisters Vineyard Sea Ridge Meadow (734 cases) shows gamey, meaty notes with hints of underbrush, gun flint, black cherry, and raspberry. It is rich, full-bodied, powerful, and quite long and heady. There is some tannin still to be resolved, but this wine should age nicely . . . . Kudos to the Martinelli family, one of the great old winemaking families of Northern California. (They also produce exquisite apples as well.)" Wine Advocate #168, Dec 2006 |
