"Looking first at the 2014 Côte Rôtie Terrasses, it’s a beautiful, classic effort that offers slightly darker fruits than the 2013 yet has a similar elegant, silky style. Black raspberries, flowers, spice, and a touch of minerality all emerge from this ethereally textured, vibrant, incredibly elegant 2014 that has loads of charm and character. Give bottles another year or two and enjoy over the following decade. These are the first releases I’ve tasted from vigneron Jean-Luc Jamet, who left the family estate in 2013."
