94 AM. "A restrained application of wood is unobtrusive and does not impede the expressiveness of the gorgeously spiced black cherry and cassis infused nose. The rich, powerful and robust large-scaled flavors possess excellent mid-palate density and plenty of extract that imparts a suave mouth feel yet the overall impression is a wine of focus, exquisite balance and persistence. This marvelous effort will require plenty of cellar time and I wouldn't consider opening a bottle until at least 2020. That said, in the same vein as the 2011 version, the tannins are firm yet relatively fine grained and as such, this is really quite refined in the context of the appellation."
