Bodega Chacra Pinot Noir Barda 2017, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Río Negro, Patagonia

"A bright and dense red with vivid lemon character, blueberries and stone. A firm and silky tannin structure. Full-bodied, but remains agile and energetic. This is half the normal production due to a short crop. 65% cement and the rest aged in used oak. Needs a year or two to come around but a beauty already." 94 Points James Suckling

Daniel Bouland Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes Foudre #4 2017, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais

"The 2017 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes (4) is brilliant, unfurling in the glass with notes of wild plums, cherries and cassis, complemented by savory aromas of grilled meat and loamy soil. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and layered, with a slightly tauter, more tensile profile than the Corcelette that matured in foudre #7, as well as marginally more concentration. While the differences between the two bottlings aren't sufficient to merit a divergence of scores, #7 is the purist's choice and seemingly the best-adapted to sustained bottle age: it was the bottling I purchased for my own cellar." 94 Points Wine Advocate

Daniel Bouland Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes Foudre #7 2017, 0.75L
Gamay from Morgon, Beaujolais

"The 2017 Morgon Corcelette Vieilles Vignes (7) wafts from the glass with a creamy bouquet of cherries, cassis, dried flowers, dark chocolate, licorice and plums. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and velvety, with juicy acids and fine tannins that are entirely concealed by a deep, layered core of fruit. Concentrated but mouthwatering, it's quintessential Corcelette. There are two separate bottlings this year, numbered respectively as (4) and (7) to designate two different foudres that Bouland opted to distinguish to his clientele for the first time: this note refers to foudre #7, which hails from Tonnellerie Rousseau and represents a more recent addition to the cellar than the older, larger foudre #4." 94 Points Wine Advocate

P.M. Chermette Domaine du Vissoux Les Garants 2016, 0.75L
Gamay from Fleurie, Beaujolais

"In contrast to the Poncié bottling, the les Garants lieu à dit is located down in the section of Fleurie that borders on Moulin-à-Vent, and like the Coudert’s Clos de la Roilette, was actually once part of Moulin-à-Vent, rather than Fleurie. Monsieur Chermette gives this wine a bit of new oak, which works beautifully with the more structured personality of this cru, as it offers up a fine nose of black cherries, pomegranate, dark soil tones, gamebird, espresso and a touch of oak spice. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, full and potentially sappy at the core, with fine-grained tannins, excellent focus and grip and a very long, poised and nascently complex finish." 94 John Gilman

“Vivid ruby. Aromas of fresh dark berries, candied violet and smoky minerals pick up a hint of allspice with air. Sweet and nicely concentrated, offering juicy boysenberry and blackberry flavors and a touch of licorice. Finishes sappy and smooth, showing excellent persistence, lingering spiciness and dusty tannins that sneak in slowly.” Vinous 92 Points

Bellevue Saint-Émilion 2014, 0.75L
Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Emilion, Bordeaux

ON SALE! Original Price: $38.99

“A tight and alluring red with spice, chocolate and berry character. Full-bodied yet tight and composed. Beautiful length and balance. Give it time to show you what it has.” James Suckling 94 Points

“The wine from this estate perched high above Château Angélus is tight and mineral. While the dark dense tannins are to the fore, it also has great fruits. The acidity and the crisp texture give the wine both its intensity and its potential.” Wine Enthusiast 93 Points

“Ripe and fleshy, with a direct beam of raspberry and black currant confiture framed by a solid graphite edge. Lots of tobacco and licorice snap details hang in the background. Should age well.” Wine Spectator 92 Points

“The 2014 Bellevue is dark, plush and inviting. Black cherry, espresso, smoke, licorice, tobacco and bittersweet chocolate notes give the wine its distinctly modern, sumptuous feel. This is an especially powerful, ripe style. I would prefer to drink the 2014 sooner rather than later.” Vinous 91 Points

Bitouzet-Prieur Meursault Les Perrières 2015, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Meursault, Burgundy

"The 2015 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a very sophisticated, understated bouquet that is beautifully defined, with great focus and real mineralité flooding through with aeration. The succinct palate offers lip-smacking salinity, just the right amount of reduction and outstanding concentration toward the curry-leaf-tinged finish. A fabulous Les Perrières. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting." 94 Points Neal Martin, Vinous

Domaine Pinson Chablis Mont de Milieu 2017, 0.75L
Chardonnay from Chablis, Burgundy

"A beguiling cocktail of sea shell and smoky iodine minerals combine with stone fruits, subtle oak and a lively, zingy finish." 94 Points Decanter

"Here too there is a whiff of wood present on the expressive and vaguely exotic nose that offers up notes of algae, iodine, white peach and seaweed. As is usually the case with this wine there is excellent volume, power, muscle and mid-palate density to the medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the almost painfully intense mineral-driven finish that flashes a bit of youthful austerity. This is terrific and offers excellent upside development potential." 91-94 Points Allen Meadows, Burghound

Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin Muscadet L d'Or 2017, 0.75L
Melon de Bourgogne from Muscadet-Sèvre et Maine, Loire

"Domaine Luneau-Papin’s 2017 Muscadet “L d’Or” Granite is a stellar example of this difficult vintage in Muscadet. The wine delivers beautiful aromatics in its constellation of lemon zest, bread fruit, sweet and gentle nutty tones from the lees contact, white flowers, a touch of straw and a salty base of minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with superb focus and grip, outstanding energy and backend mineral drive and a long, complex and vibrant finish. This is a stellar bottle of Muscadet.” 94 Points John Gilman. View From the Cellar

Clos du Mont-Olivet Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Unique 2015, 0.75L
Grenache from Chateauneuf du Pape, Rhône

“A beautifully crafted wine that has a deeply fragrant rose and red berry nose. The purity of grenache sings brightly. In the mouth it offers a fluid, even-paced and smoothly structured impression. Deceptive power, too” James Suckling 94 Points

“Vivid ruby. Heady, mineral-laced red berry preserve, spicecake and floral aromas are complicated by suggestions of dusty minerals and pungent herbs. Lively, sharply focused raspberry and bitter cherry flavors become deeper and sweeter with air while picking up a musky licorice nuance. Shows impressive energy and thrust on the sweet, red-fruit-dominated finish, which is framed by supple, slow-building tannins.” Vinous 91-93 Points

“Rounded and silky in feel, with a graceful structure that allows the raspberry, kirsch and blood orange fruit flavors to glide along. Light tea, incense and sanguine notes fill in on the finish.” Wine Spectator 91 Points

Domaine La Bouissiere Gigondas La Font de Tonin 2016, 0.75L
Grenache / Mourvèdre from Gigondas, Rhône

"A blend of 81% Grenache and 19% Mourvèdre, all matured in barrels (25% new), the 2016 Gigondas la Font de Tonin is a plush, hedonistic expression of Gigondas. Baking spices accent raspberry and cherry fruit in this full-bodied, decadent wine that's probably best enjoyed in its first decade. Supple, plummy and slightly warm, but in a comforting sort of way, it finishes harmoniously and long." 94 Points Wine Advocate

Domaine Lionnet Cornas Terre Brûlée 2015, 0.75L
Syrah from Cornas, Rhône

“A terrific wine, the 2015 Cornas Terre Brulee combines smoky notes of grilled plums and meat in a full-bodied format. It's richly tannic and velvety at the same time, with a finish that's simultaneously drying (from tannins) and mouthwatering (from juicy fruit). Farmed organically, vinified with stems in concrete and aged in used, large-format oak, Cornas doesn't get more authentic (or better) than this!”  94 Points Wine Advocate

Selbach Oster Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Anrecht Auslese #30 2015, 0.75L
Riesling from Zeltingen, Mosel

"Picked in one passage and without any pre-selections at the end of October, the 2015 Zeltinger Himmelreich Riesling Auslese Anrecht is super deep, intense and spicy/fresh on the flinty, concentrated nose. Full-bodied, pure and lush, this is a very complex and elegant, highly mineral and salty Riesling. It has good grip and a very long, mineral finish. This is great Riesling that is indicated as Auslese only, because of the sugar weight, but not because of the selective yeasts." 94 Points Wine Advocate

Cascina Fontana Barolo 2010, 0.75L
Nebbiolo from Barolo, Piedmont

"Cascina Fontana's 2010 Barolo is not for the timid. Huge swaths of tannin provide the backbone for a super-classic wine that shows the more austere side of Barolo, and I mean that in the best sense of the word. Nebbiolo from Barbaresco, Piedmont

"The 2014 Barbaresco Riserva Pora is a dark, sensual beauty. Deeply spiced and balsamic, with tremendous textural richness, the Pora is utterly beguiling. I can't remember a Pora with this much depth, textural resonance and brooding intensity. The 2014 needs at least a few years to be at its best, but it is superb even in the early going. Pinot Noir from Central Otago, South Island

"The medium to full-bodied 2015 Burn Cottage Vineyard Pinot Noir offers up aromas of roses, ripe cherries, crushed stone and subtle hints of pencil shavings. Despite 31% whole clusters and 19% new oak, neither is readily apparent on the nose at this stage. On the palate, there's a sense of restrained fruit coupled with wiry, herbal, tea-like nuances that add complexity and texture, extending through a long, silky finish. "A collaboration between Antoine Graillot from Crozes-Hermitage and Raúl Pérez, this Mencía comes from a range of parcels, with a strong focus in Rapolao, one of Pérez’s star vineyards in the Valtuille de Abajo area. It’s rare for mencía in Bierzo to taste this fresh, with so much energy and tension. There are meat and mineral notes, but it’s mostly just delicious, crunchy red fruit, filling the mouth with freshness. "Silky and downright succulent, this Scotch is made with two types of oak casks—as the DoubleWood name suggests—but it's really all about the influence of the ex-Sherry cask. "Named in honor of Dante and Carlo Mondavi’s grandfather. A selection of the finest barrels giving a window into the cool westerly hills of the true Sonoma Coast. Clones are Pommard, “828,” 667, Calera and rVR1. Goldridge soils. Whole cluster, native fermentation. Aged in neutral French oak barrels. Bottled without fining or filtration. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. A whole cluster-driven nose featuring aromas of cherry, pine sap and burnt tobacco. Very sleek, seamless and sexy, with a mid weight core of black cherry fruit, accented with exotic spices. Good vibrancy and mellow tannins, finishing intense and long with a dark cherry aromatic theme." 94 Points Prince of Pinot

Roar Pinot Noir Garys` Vineyard 2017, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Santa Lucia Highlands, California

"Both deeper and darker than the Rosella’s Vineyard, the 2017 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard offers more blackberry, toasted spice, dried earth, and some garrigue-like notes, with just a hint of background oak. It too is medium-bodied, elegant, and seamless on the palate, with beautiful balance." 94 Points Jeb Dunnuck

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2013, 1.5L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"Early Silver Oak wines—the winery's first vintage in 1972 produced a mere 1,100 cases—were often quite adventurous. Always exciting those vintages, over four decades ago were sometimes up and down, and far from the polished product that the wine is today. Over the past decade, these Napa Cabs have continued to garner attention, and have now become remarkably consistent. The 2013 Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with the potential to be the winery's best ever, is seamless, rewarding, and a standout. At first sniff, this wine shows black fruit and cedar notes. With aeration, its aromatics blossom and springs forth with a delightful array of savory spices. Invite a few wine friends and pair this wine with a thick, rare slice of prime rib and enjoy the wine and food synergy." 94 Points Wilfred Wong

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2014, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Cabernet Franc / Petit Verdot / Malbec from Napa Valley, California

"COMMENTARY: Silver Oak keeps on truckin', and the winery's 2014 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon marks a new era for the winery. Now under the stewardship of winemaker Nate Weis—he's the winery's third winemaker in its 45-year history. Nate worked with the previous winemaker Daniel Baron (just as Baron did with Justin Meyer before his retirement). The changes, though somewhat subtle, now showcase just a little more brightness of fruit. TASTING NOTES: This wine displays a seamless synergy of all its parts. Its well-choreographed aromas and flavors of black fruit and oak accents would pair beautifully with a well-marbled, grilled ribeye or even an oven-baked crown roast of lamb." 94 Points Wilfred Wong
