Hudelot-Noëllat Romanée-Saint-Vivant 2014, 0.75L
Pinot Noir from Vosne Romanee, Burgundy

“The 2014 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru was tasted from a one-year-old barrel, though the final blend will include 50% new oak. It has a beautifully defined bouquet with blackberry, raspberry and a hint of fig, somehow effortless and wonderfully transparent. The palate is medium-bodied with sensual, quite ripe tannins. There is good volume here, impressive density and yet the overriding feeling is one of refinement. Then just on the finish there is something spicy, almost earthy, as it gently fans out. This is an exquisite Romanée-Saint-Vivant in the making.” Wine Advocate 94-96 Points

“Deep, dark red. Brooding, youthfully medicinal aromas of red cherry, dark berries, mocha and cocoa powder. Dense and tactile, with dark cherry, raspberry and spice flavors showing enough sweetness to support the wine's salty minerality. Finishes sappy, energetic, precise and very long, with substantial ripe tannins in need of cellaring.” Vinous 93+ Points

Philipponnat Clos de Goisses Extra Brut 2009, 0.75L
Pinot Noir / Chardonnay from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Champagne

"The 2009 Clos des Goisses, tasted from a trial disgorgement, is more than a worthy follow up to the stunning 2008. Bright, focused and powerful, with terrific freshness for the year, the 2009 is pure sensuality. To be sure, there is plenty of vintage 2009 radiance to the citrus, orchard fruit and pastry flavors, but the blocked-malo style helps the wine retain plenty of verve. The 2009 is 61% Pinot Noir and 39% Chardonnay, with no malolactic fermentation. Charles Philipponnat chose to scale down the number of lots fermented in oak to 37% in order to temper some of the natural richness of the year. He seems to have succeeded, as the 2009 retains terrific vibrancy."  94-96 Points Antonio Galloni

Domaine Charvin Châteauneuf du Pape 2016, 0.75L
Grenache / Mouvedre / Syrah / Vaccarese / Counoise from Chateauneuf du Pape, Rhône

"Deep bright-rimmed red. An explosively perfumed bouquet evokes ripe fruits, incense and exotic spices, and a sexy floral pastille nuance builds in the glass. Sappy, broad and expansive on the palate, offering sweet raspberry preserve, boysenberry and spicecake flavors that are given spine and lift by a core of juicy acidity. Closes on a gently tannic note, displaying superb clarity and spicy thrust and leaving sweet red fruit preserve and Asian spice notes behind." 94-96 Points Josh Reynolds, Vinous

Jean Royer Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Prestige 2015, 0.75L
Grenache / Mourvèdre / Syrah / Cinsault from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Rhône

“Brilliant red. Expansive, mineral-tinged red berry, floral pastille and Asian spice aromas, along with hints of succulent herbs and incense. Appealingly sweet and seamless in texture, offering energetic raspberry, boysenberry and lavender pastille flavors that show outstanding clarity and lift. Fine-grained tannins provide frame and grip to the nervy, focused finish, which lingers with wonderful persistence and repeating florality. This remarkable wine should drink well through a long, steady aging curve thanks to its harmonious blend of fruit, acidity and tannins.” 94-96 Points Vinous

Dalla Valle Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, 0.75L
Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California

"Inky purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate leaps from the glass with youthful, exuberant red and black currants notes over scents of garrigue, cedar, violets, rose hip, iron ore, dusty earth and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, finely constructed and with bags of finesse, it sports a solid line of very fine-grained tannins and impressive earth-inspired layers, finishing with great persistence. This was tasted as a barrel sample." 94-96 Points Wine Advocate
