“The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve captures all the personality of this site on the southern edge of St. Helena. Sweet, voluptuous and powerful, the 2014 is endowed with tremendous depth from start to finish. Inky red and purplish fruit, menthol, pine and sweet spices are front and center. The 2014 is an especially ripe, flamboyant wine, but all the elements are very nicely balanced. About 40% of the wine is fermented in oak uprights.” |
