"Deceptively medium in body, Clerico's 2010 Lessona Riserva packs a real punch. Firm tannins and bright acids give the wine much of its energy. Sweet dried cherry, rose petal, mint, alpine herbs, white pepper and chalk all open up nicely in the glass in this super-expressive, translucent Nebbiolo. The 2010 delivers superb flavor intensity with no excess weight and fabulous overall balance." |
