“Brilliant ruby. Aromas of fresh red and dark berries, candied flowers and smoky minerals take on hints of exotic spices and earth as the wine opens up. Sweet and pliant in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry and black raspberry flavors that show very good depth as well as energy. Finishes sappy and precise, displaying strong persistence, a lingering red fruit note and fine-grained tannins that build slowly.” |
