"There is one more bottling of the 1975 Oloroso Tradición Añada from bota number one of the seven they still have from 1975. They filled 275 bottles, numbered and marked as L 1/17 (lot number one from 2017) in May 2017. The wine was released in September 2017. The single-harvest wines show more development than the soleras and they tend to have a more marked oxidative character. There are tons of hazelnuts, a spirity note and a volatile hint. The nose feels like an Oloroso but the palate has an unusual finesse, great freshness and could be considered a Palo Cortado by many, perfectly integrated and subtle. These wines are almost indestructible, but finding a bottle is already a challenge. . ." |
