"The 2016 Zinfandel Turley Estate is bold, ripe and powerful in this vintage. Hints of cedar, tobacco and dried flowers add character, but the Turley Estate is mostly a wine of volume and textural intensity. Wild cherry, kirsch and new leather develop in the glass later. The estate is a decidedly super-ripe, flamboyant wine with all of its elements in the right place. There is a real feeling of palate weight and intensity here." |
