"From declassified The Hilt lots and raised in a mix of new and neutral oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir is a deeply colored effort that has subtle oak as well as rich notes of black cherries, black raspberries, toasted spice, and graphite. With medium to full-bodied richness, a layered, concentrated profile, and plenty of length, it needs a year or so to absorb some of this oak but is still a beautiful wine that readers should snatch up." |
