"A wine of polish and sophistication, the 2016 Mourvèdre is positively striking today. The more moderate growing season vis-a-vis 2015 yielded a wine with all the power and depth that are such signatures here, but with an added kick of freshness that gives vibrancy. The 2016 has the potential to develop into a truly special wine, but if previous vintages are any indication, it is also likely to age at a glacial pace." |
