"Another singular discovery; who even knew that this usually mundane vineyard could give such wines? Since 2012 there hasn’t been an “ordinary” wine from here. There’s an aroma that tilts in the direction of Sauvignon; redcurrant, woodruff and lemonbalm and resin. Often this spreads out with age and gets more passion-fruity, but for now it’s slinky and juicy, pointed and long in its angular herbal way." |
